A method and a system for paying an article price of home shopping broadcasting by using a mobile terminal are provided to improve convenience by enabling a customer to login to a home shopping data broadcasting service and order/pay an article through the mobile terminal instead of a remote controller. The mobile terminal(101) inputs article order/payment information by using a remote controller function. A home shopping data broadcasting server(102) provides home shopping broadcasting service programs to a customer terminal(100) and receives the payment information from the mobile terminal of the customer. An STB(Set-Top Box)(103) outputs the programs received from the home shopping data broadcasting server to the customer terminal and transmits login/payment information inputted from the mobile terminal to the home shopping data broadcasting server. A credit card payment server(104) determines an approval by receiving an article price payment request from the home shopping data broadcasting server.
