The heating device comprises a tubular heating body (1) with a loop part, and a cover plate (2) having a main surface (3) limited in the length and width directions, and two side surfaces (4) located along each of the main surface length edges. The plate is connected with the heating body. Then main surface of the plate extends over the width of the loop part and at least the main part of its length too, whilst the side surfaces of the plate extend over the height of the loop part so that the plate partly encloses the loop part over at least the main part of its length.
