Provided is a resin composition, which forms cured films having high flatness on a substrate having surface roughness, is suitable for forming protective films having various resistances, and has excellent storage stability. The resin composition contains (A) a copolymer of (a1) a polymerizable unsaturated compound having an oxylanyl group or oxetanyl group and (a2) a polymerizable unsaturated compound other than the (a1), (B) a polymer containing a polymerizable unsaturated compound having an acid anhydride group and/or (b2) an acid anhydride formed of a multivalent carboxylic acid anhydride, and (C) a curing accelerator formed of a compound having a basic skeletal structure represented by a formula 1 and/or a compound having a basic skeletal structure represented by a formula 2.
