<p>The present invention relates to a commercial-scale process for the production of influenza virus or antigens for prophylactic, diagnostic, immunotherapeutic or therapeutic purposes. Particularly, the invention provides a Madin-Darby Canine Kidney (MDCK)-derived, cell line and a cell culture-based process for the production of an influenza vaccine and more particularly, a human vaccine comprising influenza types A and B.</p> |
