A system and a method for giving a small change by accumulating mileage/point are provided to display the mileage/point accumulated instead of the small change to a terminal screen, and accumulate the mileage/point to a customer account or various kinds of cards when the small change is generated in a member shop by purchase of a customer. A customer card(100) such as a smart card, a magnetic card, a punch card, or a printing card includes mileage/point data and/or account information of each customer to provide a royalty service of the member shop. The transaction terminal(200) of the member shop provides a mileage/point service to the customer by reading the customer card. A mileage/point management server(300) is connected to the transaction terminal. The mileage/point management server includes a mileage/point management database. The mileage/point management database includes the customer accounts(310), member shop accounts(320), and transaction records(330) received from the transaction terminal. |
