A key input method is provided to enable a user to more easily and conveniently input keys when inputting numbers and/or characters through a key input unit such as a remote controller on a display screen having an input box where a credit card number or a social security number is inputted. Right/left arrow keys equipped on a key input unit are used for movement to a right or left blank within an input box where more than one number and/or character can be inputted. If the right/left arrow keys are pressed while a cursor is located on both of right and left end blanks of the input box, the cursor is moved to an input box located on a right or left side, while a focus(30) of the input box is allocated to the overall part. |
