An OSD(On Screen Display) control method in a display system is provided to alternately and selectively activate multiple OSD images through a simple remote controller key operation when the multiple OSD images are displayed on a single monitor. A first OSD image is generated when a user interface for generating the first OSD image is provided. The generated first OSD image is mixed with an image corresponding to a video signal to generate a mixed image, and the mixed image is displayed on a monitor(212). It is checked whether a second OSD image is generated while the mixed image is displayed. When the second OSD image is generated, the second OSD image and an icon are mixed with the mixed image to generate multiple mixed images(218), and the multiple mixed images are displayed on the monitor(220). It is determined whether a multi-OSD key signal for selectively activating the first and second OSD images is inputted(222). Whenever the multi-OSD key signal is inputted, the first and second OSD images are alternately and selectively activated(226).
