METHOD FOR REMOVING RESONANCE FREQUENCY USING NOTCH FILTER OF HARD DISK DRIVE AND RECORDING MEDIA FOR COMPUTER PROGRAM THEREFOR

A method for removing a resonance frequency by using a notch filter of an HDD(Hard Disk Drive) and a recording medium for recording a computer program executing the method are provided to secure the operation of the HDD which is strong in environment change and prevent the performance of the HDD from being degraded due to a resonance frequency which is not removed by determining the resonance frequency and a temperature-classified coefficient of the notch filter and removing the resonance frequency through the corresponding notch filter on the basis of the temperature change of the HDD under the use environment of the HDD. A temperature-classified resonance frequency for an HDD is measured(S11). A coefficient of a notch filter for removing the corresponding resonance frequency is determined in a corresponding temperature on the basis of the measured resonance frequency(S12). A temperature of the HDD is detected under the use environment of the HDD(S13,S14). The resonance frequency is removed by using the corresponding notch filter with the coefficient corresponding to the detected temperature(S15).
