A polychrome luminescence control method for displaying states of a digital door lock is provided to variously express operating states of the digital door lock by using a polychrome LED(Light Emitting Diode). A control unit is connected to various sensor units including a key pad and a limit switch in order to move forwardly and backwardly a dead bolt by driving a motor according to conditions. The control unit controls a light emitting diode of a front display panel of an external assembly and a buzzer. A polychrome LED is installed in the inside of the front display panel. A polychrome luminescence control method includes a process for expressing operations of secret number input keys, locking and unlocking operations of a digital door lock, a secret number setting operation, and state operations of an emergency lamp by using different colors of light. The colors of the polychrome LED are variously changed in order to express button pushing standby states according to pushing operations of buttons of the key pad.
