An electric governor controller is provided to control the engine drive to generate an output voltage in the situation requiring an emergent generation of power by including an emergency operation unit. An electric governor controller includes a PID controller(112), an operation section(114), an emergent operation selection section(202), and an emergent operation section(204). The PID controller performs a PID control function on the difference value between the rotational speed and the regular speed of an engine. The operation section drives an actuator under the control of the PID controller. An emergent operation is selected in the emergent operation selection section by a user. When the emergent operation is selected through the emergent operation selection section, the emergent operation section drives the actuator to inject a predetermined amount of fuel.
