<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a memory error check without making a user unpleasant. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of kinds of memory error check selection screens are displayed at an operation/displaying part (S20). In response to the user's selection, the memory error check is carried out (S4). Moreover, in response to an indication to turn off a power supply, the memory error check is carried out as a preparatory treatment of turning-off of the power supply.
