PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system capable of extending the lifetime of a storage device by controlling the power so as to be supplied to a required storage device and reducing the power consumption of a sub storage system more in a computer system using remote copying. SOLUTION: A host device transmits data to a first storage system, the first storage system records the data in a first logical volume, the first storage system generates update system including the data, a second storage system supplies the power to a storage device constituting a second logical volume to record the update data in the second logical volume if the power of the storage device constituting the second logical volume is disconnected as a trigger of receiving the update data from the first storage system, and the second storage system further reads the update data stored in the second logical volume and records the read update data in a third logical volume.
