PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure accuracy in autofocus or the like by restraining a situation that the position of a lens in a camera differs by every individual. SOLUTION: A chart is arranged at a position separate from the camera, for example, by 1.4 m (step S2) to specify the position of the lens when the contrast of the chart becomes maximum by utilizing an autofocus function to the chart (step S5). In the same manner, the chart is arranged at a position separate from the camera, for example, by 10 cm to specify the position of the lens when the contrast of the chart becomes maximum. A correction factor corresponding to the deviation of the moving speed of the lens in individual is obtained from the number of driving pulses applied when the lens moves to two specified positions. Then, the number of driving pulses given in moving the lens by a prescribed amount is corrected by the correction factor when autofocus is actually performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
