PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing device used in various electronic devices, and capable of ensuring its opening and closing operation and retention at a prescribed angle. SOLUTION: A rotor 14 is roughly cylindrical, rotor cams 15A, 15B elastically kept into contact with a stator cam 13 are opposedly protruding from an inner periphery of the rotor 14, and elastically kept into contact with and slid on the concavo-convex stator 13 cam provided at an end of roughly cylindrical stator 11 during the opening closing operations. The opening and closing device is openable roughly up to 180 degrees, and a force in the opening direction is applied to a movable housing 23 even when the movable housing is opened not less than 165 degrees. Accordingly, the opening and closing device eliminates wobbling, and ensures reliable opening and closing operations and retention at the prescribed angle. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
