SYSTEM FOR PRESENTING AUGMENTED REALITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for presenting augmented reality which collectively presents an image obtained by imaging an objective region and the additional distribution information on the objective region. SOLUTION: The image of the object region is obtained by an imaging unit by detecting (coordinates and orientations) the position (both three dimensions and two dimensions are appropriate) of the imaging unit employed for imaging the objective region and the position of a sensor unit which acquires additional information on the objective region and then by utilizing the above position information. The additional information of the objective region is obtained by the sensor unit. The image and the additional information are collectively presented as an image from the same viewpoint or from different viewpoints having a fixed relation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
