PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for manufacturing a stator, with which a coil inducing circumferentially arranged consecutive poles is inserted stably and arranged in stator cores, and the shape of a coil end portions, projected from ends of an axial direction of the stator cores, are shaped stably, in a short cycle time. SOLUTION: The stator manufacturing device 1 includes a coil winding portion 2 which forms the coil 8 inducing circumferentially arranged consecutive poles, a coil-receiving/transferring portion 3 which transfers the coil 8, a core-retaining/transferring portion 4 which transfers the stator cores 7, a coil-inserting portion 5 which inserts and arranges the coil 8 in the stator cores 7, and a coil-shaping portion 6 which shapes the shape of the coil-end portions 82. The coil-receiving/transferring portion 3 slides horizontally toward a receiving position 301, which faces a coil-winding portion 2, and toward an insert position 302 which faces to the coil-inserting portion 5. The core-retaining/transferring portion 4 slides horizontally toward an accepting position 401 which faces the coil-inserting portion 5, and toward a shaping position 402 which faces the coil-shaping portion 6.
