PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more surely decide the validity of a digital certificate than a conventional manner. SOLUTION: In a network configured of a plurality of terminal equipment, the terminal equipment in the network is provided with a digital certificate expiration list, and when the digital certificate expiration list owned by itself is updated (#39), information including the content of the update is transmitted to another terminal so that a digital certificate expiration list owned by the other terminal equipment in the network can be updated based on the content of the update (#40).
