PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precipitation strengthened high strength steel sheet which allows compatibility of high strength and excellent continuous castability; and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The high strength steel sheet has a composition containing, by mass, 0.04 to 0.09% C,≤0.50% Si, 1.20 to 1.80% Mn,≤0.050% P,≤0.01% S,≤0.0019% N, 0.01 to 0.1% sol.Al, 0.03 to 0.09% Ti and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
