PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for flat panel display which is further improved in effect of sealing against outside air and further improved in dielectric strength characteristics of a joint part between a substrate and a sealing member and capable of sealing utilizing glass frit in an ambient condition, and to provide the flat panel display and a panel of the flat panel display. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes a stage of forming at least one light emission part having a plurality of light emitting elements on one surface of a substrate, a stage of preparing a sealing member opposite the one surface of the substrate, a stage of coating one of mutually opposite surfaces of the substrate and sealing member with glass frit corresponding to the circumference of the light emission part, a stage of coating the one of the mutually opposite surfaces of the substrate and sealing member with a sealant so that the glass frit is surrounded, a stage of joining the substrate and sealing member together with the sealant in a prescribed vacuum atmosphere, and a stage of joining the substrate and sealing member with the glass frit in an atmosphere of pressure higher than that of the joining stage using the sealant.
