The auxiliary lighting (V) such as parking light, number plate light and instrument panel display is connected in parallel to a day-night rotary switch terminal (K). The terminal leads to a blocking diode (D) in series with a resistance (R) to the negative side of the supply. At the junction point (P) with diode and resistance, a display lamp (L) is connected via a switch contact to the positive supply. The current flows by day via the display lamp (L) and the diode to the lamp circuit (V) to negative. By night, the rotary switch terminal (K) is turned to positive and the lamp current flows via the display lamp (L) and the resistance (R) to the negative pole. |
