Flask closure with tear=off strip - positioned across top surface and along one side of cylindrical part and having rounded-off edges

Closure for a flagon includes a cylindrical cap with a strip which is torn off for opening. The cap (1) is provided at its bottom end with an inwardly-facing, ring-shaped projection and its tear-off strip is positioned diagonally over its top side and over one side of its cylindrical part. The tear-off strip is detached along two weakness lines of the cap (1) and is provided with a grip end (7). The cap (1) forms in the middle of its height, an inner ring shaped projection. The tear-off edges of the tear-off strip (4) are rounded off. The cylindrical part of the cap (1) is provided with an additional weakness line (6) which is positioned on the cylindrical surface opposite weakness lines (5, 5') for detaching the tear-off strip (4).
