An optical information recording apparatus having a light quantity adjustor, an optical information recording and reproducing apparatus, and an optical information reproducing apparatus are provided to adjust light quantity. A beam splitter(120) splits a beam emitted from a light source(110) into a signal beam and a reference beam. A light quantity adjustor(140) has a plurality of filters with inter-different light transmission quantities, changes a light transmission quantity of the signal beam passed according to the rotation of the filters, and adjusts a light quantity of the signal beam which arrives at an optical information recording medium(200). A spatial light modulator(180) encodes the signal beam according to data to be recorded.
