<p>A refining method which can improve the solubility of ferric citrate, includes the following steps: dissolving ferric citrate in water to form ferric citrate solution, adding solvent into the ferric citrate solution until a precipitate formed and drying the resulted precipitate. The solvent mentioned above is mutually soluble or partly soluble with water, but ferric citrate is insoluble in it. And the said solvent is selected from one of the group consisting of alcohol, ketone, nitrile, alkane, ether, petroleum ether and ester, or their combination. Ferric citrate obtained by the present method appears as a loose and porous form, is easily dissolved in water, contains definite numbers of hydrate and can achieve the effect of accurate dosing in the practical application.</p> |
