THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION FOR SCULPTURE AND SHEETS FOR CARVING, METHOD MANUFACTURING THEREBY

A thermoplastic resin composition for sculpture is provided to manufacture thermoplastic resin sheets having the same physical properties as the conventional carving rubber sheets, especially carving characteristics and strength endurable against damage when an abrasive is sprayed. The thermoplastic resin composition for sculpture comprises 75-200 parts by weight of filler and 2.5-20 parts by weight of a process aid based on 100 parts by weight of a base material. The base material consists of 10-40wt% of thermoplastic resin consisting of low density polyethylene, ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer, or a mixture thereof, 40-70wt% of ethylene propylene rubber, and 20-40wt% of styrene-butadiene thermoplastic elastomer. The mixture of low density polyethylene and ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer consists of 5-20wt% of low density polyethylene and 5-20wt% of ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer.
