<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element wherein a current value is not declined even if adsorption amount of a photosensitizer in a semiconductor layer increases. <P>SOLUTION: This photoelectric conversion element comprises at least a conductive substrate, a semiconductor layer on which a photosensitizer is adsorbed, a charge transporting layer and a counter electrode.
