<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for mounting an electronic component on a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: In the component-mounting method for making the nozzles of a plurality of heads suck the electronic component, carrying it and loading it on the substrate; the respective heads are set rotatable, independently about the center axes of the respective nozzles, and an R axis adjustment step is provided for rotating the head about the center axis of the nozzle, and for adjusting it so as to be a prescribed rotating angle.
