<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alignment-free optically anisotropic form, and to provide a polymerizable liquid crystal composition capable of making the optically anisotropic form. <P>SOLUTION: The polymerizable liquid crystal composition containing a polymerizable group-bearing liquid crystal compound is provided. This composition also contains a (meth)acrylic copolymer(H) 10,000-300,000 in mass-average molecular weight having fluorine group-bearing side chains and a side chain having one condensed ring selected from naphthalene, indene, pentalene, azulene and heptalene rings( wherein, one or more carbon atoms constituting the condensed ring may be substituted with N or carbonyl group, one or more carbon atoms not adjacent to each other may be substituted with S or O, part or the whole of the condensed ring may be hydrogenated and may have substituent(s) ). The optically anisotropic form is obtained by coating a substrate having aligning function with the above liquid crystal composition and subjecting the composition under alignment to polymerization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
