<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection system capable of driving a cooling device even when a power supplied from an external electric source to a projector is stopped, while realizing a low-cost projector. <P>SOLUTION: The projection system is provided with a PC, the projector 3 and an information transmission means which connects the PC with the projector so as to permit transmission and reception of information. The information transmission means has a power transmission path which can supply power from the PC to the projector 3. The projector 3 is provided with the cooling device 33 which cools a heating element on the inner part; and a power generation part 34 which supplies a drive voltage to at least the cooling device 33, based on the power supplied via the power transmission path and supplies drive voltages to other constituting elements, at least the cooling device 33 based with the power supplied from the external power source. The PC is provided with a cooling device control part which produces a control command for driving and controlling the cooling device 33 and outputs the control command to the cooling device 33 via the information transmission means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
