<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a quantum teleportation for obtaining high-efficiency transportation using continuous quantity of an optical field. <P>SOLUTION: A distributor 2 emits a first to fourth squeezed optical beams. The first and third squeezed optical beams from the distributor are incident on a transmitter 3. An incident light to be transferred is separated into a first polarized incident light and a second polarized incident light. A first homodyne measurement is performed based on the first polarized incident light and the first squeezed optical beam, while a second homodyne measurement is performed based on the second polarized incident light and the third squeezed optical beam. The first and second homodyne measurement results are transmitted to a receiver 4 through a classical communication channel 12. The first and fourth squeezed optical beams from the distributor 2 are incident on the receiver 4, which receives the first and second homodyne measurement results from the transmitter 3 to combine an optical beam modulated based on the first and second homodyne measurement results with the second (1b) and fourth (2b) squeezed optical beams, thus obtaining output light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
