<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce user's load by automatically setting an APS, AMS, or the like in accordance with the state of an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has a control means for executing a set function out of an automatic sheet selecting function and an automatic magnification variation function.
