<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a color shift occurring due to a variation component in one turn of a first image carrier. <P>SOLUTION: Four slits 301 are formed at intervals of 90 degrees in the vicinity of outer peripheries of rotating plates 300 (or end surfaces of photoreceptor drums 1) attached to shafts of the photoreceptor drums 1. At the same time, two FSP sensors 302 are installed at intervals of 180 degrees facing the vicinity of the outer periphery of the rotating plates 300. One of detecting timing for each slit 301 by each FSP sensor 302 is made reference timing and phases of rotational variation cycle generating in each photoreceptor drum 1 are synchronized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
