<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing granular microbe sludge more quickly. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing granular microbe sludge, in which microbe sludge for aerobically treating organic waste water is granulated to produce granular microbe sludge, comprises: an inflow step S1 of making organic waste water flow into a microbe sludge G1-thrown aeration tank 3; a treatment step S2 of aerobically treating organic waste water while aerating the aeration tank 3; a precipitation step S3 of precipitating solids G containing microbe sludge G1 in the aeration tank 3 by stopping the aeration; and a discharge step S4 of discharging the treated water W obtained by aerobically treating organic waste water from the aeration tank 3 after the precipitation step S3 is carried out.
