PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setting control I/F for transmitting/receiving signals, which is electrically insulated from a circuit inside a device with the use of an insulating element and has various contact control specifications.

SOLUTION: An electrically insulated controller 100 for transmitting/receiving the contact signals comprises a plurality of signal terminals for transmitting/receiving the contact signals; and a means for selectively setting at least one signal terminal as a terminal for an input/output among the plurality of signal terminals.
