PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal converting part of an optical pickup which connects the optical pickup and a signal processing part without making any change in the signal processing part even when a detection method of a servo error signal for the optical pickup is different from that for the signal processing part, and also to provide an optical disk drive that uses the signal converting part. SOLUTION: The optical disk drive 100A for recording or reproducing information to/from an optical disk 1 is provided with: an optical pickup 3A of a first servo signal detection method for emitting laser beams to the optical disk 1 and detecting reflected light from the optical disk 1; the signal converting part 14A for converting a plurality of detection signals A to I from the optical pickup 3A from the first servo signal detection method to a second servo signal detection method; and an analog signal processing part 4A of the second servo signal detection method for processing analog input signals SA to SH from the signal converting part 14A.
