PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for transmitting a message in which different messages can be transmitted to a specific recipient through one time of operation in a one-to-many messaging service. SOLUTION: An apparatus for transmitting a message includes: a message generator for generating transmission messages including a common message for recipient addresses set to all address fields of a plurality of address fields and a hidden message for a recipient address set to a specific address field in the plurality of address fields; and a controller for transmitting the transmission messages to the recipient addresses, respectively.
