PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder capable of improving deterioration of an image due to resilient deformation of a carriage shaft by a method wherein an ejection timing derived from an image deterioration mechanism by the resilient deformation is changed. SOLUTION: This inkjet recorder comprises a carriage having a recording head mounted thereon and a guide member to which the carriage is attached so as to be reciprocated in parallel to a recording face of a recording medium. The inkjet recorder performs the recording on a recording medium such that a drive force of a carriage motor is transmitted to the carriage through a belt to reciprocate the carriage and ink is ejected on the recording medium. The ink ejection timing is changed depending on the guide member, the movement direction of the carriage and the position of the carriage. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
