<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate layout and connection work of a return pipe returning fuel to a fuel tank. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel injection device for a diesel engine is provided with a common rail 13 connected to the fuel tank via a fuel supply pipe 12, a pressurizing pump 17 pressurizing and supplying fuel to the common rail 13, and a plurality of injection nozzles 18 injecting pressurized fuel supplied from the common rail 13 into a cylinder. The common rail is mounted via a bracket 21, another ends of a plurality of first return pipes 22 of which one ends are connected to a plurality of the injection nozzles respectively are mounted on the bracket respectively, another end of a single tank return pipe 23 of which one end is mounted on the bracket is connected to the fuel tank, an inner passage 21c establishing communication between another end of the first return pipe and one end of the tank return pipe is formed in the bracket 21, and fuel not injected is returned to the fuel tank from the injection nozzle via the first return pipe, the inner passage, and the single tank return pipe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
