摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen production catalyst of which active component prevents sintering or coking causing a reduction in activity thereof to thereby have high activity, and a production method of the hydrogen production catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen production catalyst is provided which comprises titanium and zirconium, is composed of an amorphous phase oxide or composite oxide having a molar ratio of titanium to the oxide of 5 to 75% and a molar ratio of zirconium to the oxide of 25 to 95%, uses as a carrier a porous material having a peak of pore size distribution in a range of 3 nm or more and 30 nm or less, contains a rare-earth element or silicon in the carrier, supporting catalyst active metal on a surface contacting a gas, the catalyst active metal content is 1 to 30% based on the porous material and the catalyst active metal, and the production method of the hydrogen production catalyst is also provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
