<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of reducing a sense of incongruity in operation even in a place where oxygen concentration is low. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is equipped with a fuel cell generating electric power by reaction of reaction gases, a supply device supplying the reaction gases to the fuel cell, and a controller 30 controlling the supply device. The controller 30 is equipped with an average stoichiometric ratio computing part 311 computing an average stoichiometric ratio by averaging the stoichiometric ratios over the prescribed times when the amount of reaction gas supplied to the fuel cell to the amount of necessary reaction gas of the fuel cell based on the required power generation amount is made in a stoichiometric ratio, and a maximum power generation amount limiting part 312 limiting the maximum power generation amount of the fuel cell so as to increase the stoichiometric ratio when the average stoichiometric ratio is in a first prescribed value or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
