<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the management method of a snap shot for updating the image of the latest snap shot when the recovery time of a recovery point following the latest snap shot is fixed or more. <P>SOLUTION: This computer system is provided with a host computer 1100, a storage system 1000 for acquiring a snap shot at the specific point of time of a data volume, and for storing write following the specific point of time as a journal, and for performing recovery by applying the journal to the snap shot and a management computer 1200.
