PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television and an electronic equipment in which fixation of a jack for external connection attached to a printed circuit board is reinforced by a simple constitution and at a low cost. SOLUTION: In the electronic equipment 1 in which the jack 8 for external connection is attached at a prescribed position on a pattern formed at the printed circuit board 6 by soldering, the jack 8 is formed by the main body part 81 in which the bottom face 81a is contacted with the printed circuit board 6, a nearly round socket part 82 which is positioned on the front face side of this main body part 81 and with which a plug is connected from outside, and an extension installment reinforcing part 83 which is positioned on the opposite side to the socket part 82 of the main body part 81, which is extended and installed integrally from the main body part 81, and in which the bottom part 83a is contacted with the printed circuit board 6.
