PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of searching for a proper guidance route, responding to user's command concerning utilization of a toll road. SOLUTION: A system controller 1 stores information of utilization minimum distance, responding to a user's operation instruction in a memory 9. The system controller 1 searches for a guidance route, having a shortest time required to reach a destination; determines whether the guidance route contains a toll road, and compares a using distance of the toll road with the using minimum distance thereof, when the guidance route contains the toll road. Furthermore, the system controller 1 increases, when the using distance of the toll road is smaller than the utilization minimum distance, the link cost corresponding to the toll road and searches for the guidance route again.
