PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus with high image quality, capable of stably executing storage of signals to row memories and reading of signals from the memories. SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging apparatus includes a photoelectric conversion section 11; an imaging region 10, wherein a plurality of first pixels 21A and a plurality of second pixels 21B for outputting a signal, in response to the luminance of incident light in a selected state are arranged into a matrix form; a plurality of first memories for storing the signals of the first pixels 21A in the state selected from among the first pixels 21A; and a plurality of second memories 24 for storing the signals of the second pixels 21B in the state selected from among the second pixels 21B. The signals stored in the first memories 23 and the signals stored in the second memories 24 are read respectively and sequentially to a read horizontal signal line 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
