PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ever-more wide-band folded dipole antenna device incorporated in a mobile radio terminal without using a passive element or the like and to provide the mobile radio terminal using the antenna. SOLUTION: The folded dipole antenna device which is of an unbalanced feed type, includes an antenna element 3 of an approximately plate-like loop structure, connected to an antenna feed point 1 and an antenna ground 2 provided on a base plate 4. The antenna element 3 includes a pair of first element sections 3g, 3f which extend approximately parallel to the base plate 4, a second element sections 3e, 3d, 3c formed confluent that are folded back from both ends of the first element sections and extend approximately parallel to the first element sections, and a third element section 3a which extends from a folded top part of the second element sections toward the first element sections 3g, 3f and an end part thereof is close to the first element sections 3g, 3f.
