PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein customer convenience has not been fully considered in a conventional mold preventing operation, in that an indoor environment is deteriorated, and the operation takes a long time, when the mold preventing operation is performed in an air conditioner. SOLUTION: A wet state of a heat exchanger is estimated on the basis of a situation of a cooling operation before stop, such as a relative humidity, an operation time, a used air volume, an operation frequency of a compressor and the like, in the mold preventing operation, and the time and air volume in a drying operation are changed on the basis of the situation, thus the heat exchanger can be surely dried and properly stopped.
