PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for carrying out a relay. SOLUTION: The method for carrying out the relay in radio communications network comprises: a step for determining whether a backhaul window of a present stage has been started so as to be used in the backhaul of the service of a present stage; and a step for switching a first frequency to a second frequency so as to complete the backhaul of the service of the present stage. Further, the device is a repeater for carrying out the relay in radio communication network comprising: a means for determining whether a backhaul window of a present stage has been started so as to be used in the backhaul of the service of the present stage; and a means for switching the first frequency to the second frequency so as to complete the backhaul of the service of the present stage.
