PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for processing by a simple structure, in regard to an angle detector using a resolver and a device of calculating a rotational coordinate. SOLUTION: This angle detector is equipped with an angle calculation means for calculating a rotation angle of the resolver. The calculation means is characterized by comprising: a count means for counting the number of pulses which are the final output of a phase synchronization means based on an angle zone display signal outputted by a zone identification means and on a final output of the synchronization means; a memory means for therein storing a count value and angle information associated therewith; and an extraction means for extracting the angle information determined by the count value.
