PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheets bundling apparatus capable of adjusting the amount of bending during clamping according to the stiffness and the rigidity of stacked bank notes. SOLUTION: The paper sheets bundling apparatus comprises a clamper mechanism 48 which has a lower clamper 55 and an upper clamper 56 movable in a direction approaching/separating relative to the lower clamper 55, and bends the stacked bank notes S by clamping the stacked bank notes by the lower clamper 55 and the upper clamper 56, and a band winding mechanism 50 for winding a band 36 around the stacked bank notes S bent by the clamper mechanism 48 and bundling them. The upper clamper 56 has a press-projection part 56a for pressing and bending the stacked bank notes S toward the lower clamper 55 when clamping the stacked bank notes S, and the pressure-projection part 56a is mounted on the upper clamper 56 via a leaf spring 57.
