PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air belt device capable of mitigating the request level of the pipe durability. SOLUTION: Gas from the inflator 12 flows into the bag body 16 via a pipe 18 and inflates a lap bag 15. The inflator 12 is connected with a gas inlet hole 16a in the bag body 16 through the pipe 18. The gas inlet hole 16a has a cylindrical extent of a distance a from the inlet end, and the pipe 18 is inserted to nearer the innermost in this gas inlet hole 16a in cylindrical shape.
