PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a good form plate examination property in a lithographic printing form plate which realizes writing with laser light without development process. SOLUTION: The lithographic printing form plate uses a metal lithographic form plate as a base material. A form plate examination method of a metal lithographic printing form plate includes the process of casting a luminous flux at an incident angleθin the range of 0°<θ<90°to an observing surface of the lithographic printing form plate, and the luminous flux is cast in parallel to a fold of the metal plane form plate, and the luminous flux is preferably white light or blue light.
